Christina Grimmie

I think I may be late on finding her but Christina Grimmie does great covers on Youtube! Just check out her videos for yourself. She plays the piano and has this very poofy hair that probably only looks good on her. Here's her cover of E.T. by Katy Perry.

Side by Side - Paula Abdul vs J. Cole

You can't beat the original in my opinion, but J. Cole does a good job with that Straight Up sample in his song Work Out. Decide for yourself.

Otis - Jay Z / Kanye

Jay and Yeezy dropped the video for Otis today. It reminds me of the video for Money Aint A Thing with JD. Is that Aziz Ansari at the 2:33 mark? Check it out below

Sunday Night Throwback

No Matter What People Say - Lil Kim
I think this may some of the best Lil Kim has done. She was on top back then. Really, she could still be on top if she spent less time beefing. *Kanye shrug* Anyway, I love this song!

She's Mine - Reason

My mom is a big fan of the show The Closer. I watched the season premiere with her about a month ago and in the opening there was this infectious tune playing. Of course it was made specifically for that episode, but I was surprised to find it on Youtube. The song is called "She's Mine" the fictional rapper's name is C-Game but the actual artist who both wrote the song, performed the song, and played C-Game on the show goes by the name of Reason. Check out the video below and follow Reason on Twitter @thebestreason

That Way - Wale

This song isn't new, but for a while I didn't know the name of it. Wale, Jeremih and Mr. Maybach Music himself Rick Ross team up for this joint. It's pretty smooth.

J. Cole and Trey Songz - Can't Get Enough

I'm not overly enthused about J. Cole but he's got some cool joints. His latest offering features Trey Songz. It's called "Can't Get Enough". I think J. Cole has the ability to do greater things that what he's been coming out with and he has time ahead of him to do so. Trey gets lost in this song, it could have been almost anyone on the hook, BUT features shouldn't steal the spotlight of the song so it gets a pass from me. Check out Can't Get Enough below.
