The Top 10 Workout Songs of 2012...So Far

Fort Wayne, IN – May 23, 2012 –

It's usually December, when folks take a look back at the year that's passed. But, with summer just around the corner—and plenty of opportunities to get back outdoors—itseemed like a great time to recap the best workout tracks from January through May. Big beats continue to reign supreme in the gym.The workout music royalty—Pitbull, Flo Rida and Lady GaGa—make their customary appearances in the top ten. Additionally, as you might expect, the list features a handful of dance cuts—with Breathe Carolina, Rihanna, and Cobra Starship each getting the remix treatment.Lastly, adding a little variety, there are the crossover hits—both from club producers (like Avicii), rockers (like Linkin Park), or both (like the collaboration between DJ Steve Aoki and Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo).

Here's the full list, according to votes placed at Run Hundred--the web's most popular workout music blog.

Breathe Carolina - Blackout (Wideboys Remix)
Flo Rida & Sia - Wild Ones

Channel Orange

Frank Ocean has had a lot of buzz the past week or so and now his album has been released on iTunes. Channel Orange has flooded my Twitter time line. While I've never been much of a Frank Ocean fan, I do absolutely love "Thinking Bout You" and purchased the single immediately when it was released on iTunes back in April. Honestly, it's going to take a lot to get me to purchase this album. He's very talented but I still haven't decided if he's for me yet. I've only recently started to warm up to J.Cole. How many of you have downloaded Channel Orange? What are your opinions? Speak on it.
