Introducing Robin S.

What Robin has to say about her self and her craft...

"Music is my heart and soul. I knew music before I knew anything. I was born (and raised) November 26 in Atlanta, Georgia. I remember singing hymnals in the car wit my mom and twin brother EVERYDAY on the way to school, starting at age 3. When I was about 6, we started doing 3-part harmony together. In the car! I started singing with my little playmate Carvella in the 2nd grade. Got good at it then moved to Honor Chorus all through elementary and middle school. Started playing saxophone in 3rd grade. Kept doin it, then started playin clarinet and flute in 6th grade. Moved to middle school Pep Band, then to high school Marching band, Symphonic band, Jazz band. Always been a big time singer and actor in my church, Providence Missionary Baptist Church. I LOVE MUSIC, and there's nothing more to say. God placed a special anointing on my voice and ear, and I thank Him everyday for that as well. If I couldn't sing to myself when I was down, if I couldn't listen to my music, I would go CRAZY (if I'm not already). I'm really starting out as a new professional singer. I love all types of music (except country), but I LOVE singing Gospel, R&B, Neo-Soul, and Jazz. Those are my first loves."
